Retina specialists from all the world will convene in Vienna, Austria for the 18th Congress of the European Society of Retina Specialists (EURETINA). The Congress will take place at the Reed Messe Congress Centre from 20-23 September, 2018.

Sebastian Wolf, President of EURETINA. Retina specialists from all the world will convene in Vienna, Austria for the 18th Congress of the European Society of Retina Specialists (EURETINA). The Congress will take place at the Reed Messe Congress Centre from 20-23 September, 2018. " The annual Congress is a culmination of the efforts of each chairperson, speaker and even delegates – who continue to make the commitment each year to take part in what has become the largest retina congress worldwide," said Sebastian Wolf, President of EURETINA. "As President of EURETINA, I am honoured to extend my sincere gratitude to all those who have contributed their time and expertise to the 2018 programme. Creating space for open dialogue between speakers and delegates is always a priority for us, and I would encourage you all to take full advantage of this opportunity to engage each other with any questions or pearls of wisdom you may have to share," he said. The highlights of this year's programme include 10 Main Sessions, five Update Sessions, a joint ESCRS/ EURETINA symposium, 25 Free Paper Sessions and 46 Instructional Courses. This year's EURETINA Lecture will be delivered by Tien Wong, Singapore. The Richard Lecture will be delivered by David Wong, UK and the Kreissig Lecture will be delivered by Antonia Joussen, Germany. The Young Retina Specialists Day will be held on Saturday 22nd September.
